ahaha aha… TuT It’s funny how some think that Galia isn’t sexualized coz body type and outfit~ LOOK AT HER! The disparity on male and female anatomy is astounding. Look at those long legs, and arms, and small torso. She IS a cookie-cutter, hourglass female body type… just expanded in width. She looks so out of place anatomy-wise. I wonder if their species lay eggs. I would prefer her to be round like her male counterpart.
I don’t think I can let this go even though she is an alien.

you seem to misunderstand what “sexualized” means.
It’s okay, it’s a common misconception, but the article you’re probably referring to was not talking about her body type (which it IS something to marvel at because we barely ever get thicker women in Bruce Timm style and while I would love what you put on the table, I at least appreciate what we can get), but it was talking about her clothing.
Somewhat similar to Tamerans (Starfire’s planet in case you don’t know), the thing is about equal exposure of skin. Galia may be bearing her midriff and whatnot, but the male counterpart outfit shows and equal  amount of skin. This is what is what they say when she isn’t sexualized amongst her species. The men aren’t covered head to toe in armor and then the women wearing nothing but a loincloth. It’s equal and apart of their culture.
Kindly don’t laugh at an argument you misunderstood, because it was a very well written article that you’re referring to.

That article is talking mostly about clothing. Personally, I do not have a problem with that. Here, I am talking about anatomy. Bruce Timm already drew Granny Goodness and Amanda Waller for Justice League Unlimited (the tv animation series). Just a bit more would suffice.
Since I would think that Galia’s species would be akin to rhinos—being round, tough, and heavy built—it’s logical to have the females to be like that as well. But for some odd reason, they gave her the hour-glass figure and a rather different skeletal structure. I would consider that sexualization. That every female of her species is of the same body type doesn’t change my mind.
If they were insect-types, I would be more forgiving(but then females should be larger).

To be honest, that article was very well written. But they were mostly talking about clothing as he said. The anatomy point was left out. Your version of possible female anatomy is way way WAY better, but what we get is not that bad. It was no doubt sexualized, but at least they did not give her Earth human Barbie face.
…Kilowog would totally find the middle version a lot more attractive than the right. XDDDDDDDDD
Now I really want to know if they lay eggs.

Just between us, Kilowog was mostly into her because of the soup.
She makes REALLY good soup.

Ah yes~  The way to his heart, indeed.
So~ Do they also lay eggs?
Edited: Granny Goodness, not Mother Mae Eye.

Who? The Zor?  They’re aliens.  The males lay the eggs and then both genders take turns sitting on them.

I still find it refreshing that Galia was a bad ass warrior lady but was also shown to have traditionally-feminine skills like cooking and it was no way remarked on in the show as contradictory to be good at/proud of/enjoy doing both.

ϟ razer faces [they have antagonised each other for the entire episode, and now razer is the only one who can save an unconscious kilowog from falling into a black hole]

okay i know as a fact that this meme/photo set/idk is going to make me ramble a lot because I can’t just see these gifs of razer’s face and not want to babble about his feelings and my feelings about his feelings because LOOK AT HIS FACE I CAN’T WITH IT AND HIS GLORIOUS EXPRESSIONS I JUST CAN’T OKAY (i also had the first one in drafts because hey i wanted to babble about it as well and said to myself hey shary you’re rambling too much and so i saved it but then i saw this one and SCREW IT LET’S RAMBLE)
…and i think that paragraph up there is longer than what i wanted to say oh well. look at him here. i think this is one of the many tiny moments where you see how Razer changes, little by little. he’s just officially joined the group and the whole episode has been about how Kilowog doesn’t want a red lantern there, how neither of them tolerates the other presence and mostly—how kilowog expects him to do something antagonistic, some excuse to go and tell Jordan ‘ha! see? i told you so’
and razer here finds himself in one of those turning points. he can either let kilowog fall into the abyss (maybe considered to be well deserved because of how he treated him) orrrr. he could let go of all that, forget about that and focus on what’s most important and choose to do right.
and you can see it so well right there, the way he considers his options and how he reaches the conclusion that hey. the only real option he has is to save him. and he frowns and makes a face because it annoys him somewhat. in his eyes, kilowog probably didn’t deserve his help at all—but that is what a vengeful person would think (and act accordingly). but none of that really matters right then, because it would be foolish, spiteful to not help kilowog because of that. that is someone he doesn’t want to be anymore. it bothers him somewhat, yes. but he chooses to do the right thing right then. (such a small thing perhaps, but it is a huge deal, I’d say)

All these Razer feels. They’re so great.
I love how Razer’s development is so slow and subtle. He almost never says anything when he’s making these decisions. They always play out super understated in his face, and I think that’s what makes Razer so interesting. The fact that he never stops and says what he’s thinking.
We’re left to infer a lot of what Razer is thinking from these really small moments.
I also won’t lie and say that I also love how Razer’s emotional development is so sassy.
